The once a year 2003 DENT Eastern Region Pro Modified Championship Demolition Derby and SMASHFEST will take place on Saturday July 5th 2003. The setting will be in the beautiful and scenic hills of Holland, New York at the incredible NASCAR sanctioned Holland International Speedway.

Local area favorites along with some of the best drivers from the Eastern U.S.A and Canada will be competing on asphalt to qualify for the 2004 DENT National Championship in the eastern regions toughest demolition derby. When the non-stop bone crushing action concludes, the 1 surviving driver will be named the 2003 DENT Eastern Region Pro Modified Champion.

The event will begin with 4 qualifying Heats, an intermission show and the Final Feature. The last 5 cars running in each Heat and each Heat Mad Dog Winner will qualify to run in the Feature. The Feature is run "until the death" - until the last car running makes that last hit.

During the intermission between the 4th Heat and the Feature, DENT will be hosting the Pro Modified Celebrity Smash. This 4-car Smash-Off will have the 2-car 97 Rock Demolition Team of Carl "The Grappler" Russo and Carl "Stormin" Norman battle it out with the 2-car WYRK Demolition Team of Craig "Wolfman" Matthews" and Teresa "The Terror" Jagusiak. This is a fight between Rock and Country, lets see if Rock will rock or Country will hog tie em.

SMASHFEST will begin with hundreds of Classic, Muscle and Hot Rod Car Show, live music from International and National recording artists, a DENT All-Star driver meet and greet with enough food and drink for the entire family and a huge fireworks display to finish the evening.
